My Journey

I started learning the English language a long time ago when, due to the political regime in our country, there were virtually no prospects for travelling abroad nor meeting English speakers on a daily basis. So taking English classes with a bunch of other kids was fun and a fantasy adventure. It was like getting ready to sail in a landlocked country.

The excitement of being able to study and use this language at the grammar school when the situation changed was enormous!

The doors opened and during the gap year at the university, I, well trained by our grammar school teachers, set off to London!
